Definitive Test Automation offers full development of Automated Test Systems, from concept through specification to complete product delivery. Our small diverse and dedicated team provides low overheads and intimate relations with our customers.
This gives us a highly competitive advantage over larger organisations within the Automated test industry.

Our approach is to speak with customers to determine their requirements, and advise them on the best solution based on our years of experience within the Automated Test Industry. This allows us to be adaptable and helps meet requirements very effectively.

Once requirements have been defined and agreed by both parties we will design and build the most cost effective hardware platform. This will be done using off the shelf equipment where possible and bespoke hardware where required. Using this
approach we are able to have a development platform up and running quickly, which
will provide the basis for the development and verification of the automated test
software using LabVIEW.

Software will be developed using National Instruments LabVIEW, which has been developed over the years to become the industry recognised standard for Test Automation Software. LabVIEW's use of VISA and other platform independent drivers allows us to instantly communicate with the majority of test subjects. This alongside
with Definitive Test Automation's suite of in house libraries ensures minimum time to acceptance.

Finally the system will be delivered and integrated on site and acceptance testing will begin. When all requirements have been met against a compliance matrix and the system is installed our design role will be finished. We will then ensure that the
customer is trained how to use the test equipment, which will be minimal as we endeavour to design intuitive graphical user interfaces. Support and upgrades are always an option if the customer so wishes it.

All work carried out by Definitive Test Automation will be documented and copied to the customer throughout design and development phases. We often need to work close to the customer in order to understand the test subject as best as possible.
